Pathway Toward a Degree

The Academic Foundations Certificate is one of three certificates directly connected to 91影视鈥檚 general education requirements, along with Human Creativity and Diversity and Critical and Scientific Reasoning. Completion of all three certificates, plus 15 additional elective credits in the arts, humanities, and social or behavioral science fields, leads to an Associate of Arts in General Studies. Together, these certificates create manageable academic goals for adult, working, and returning learners, as well as traditional college students and dual鈥慹nrollment high school students.

Courses and Curriculum

Academic Foundations Certificate Requirements

  • 15 - 17 credits required for certificate completion
  • Students should meet with their academic advisor each semester and use to monitor their individual progress toward completion of the certificate.
